Street workshop

If you like my work and think I can teach you something then you are at the right place.

Depending on the demand I can organize a unique and tailor-made street photography workshop in Toulouse for a small and limited group of people. It can also be a one to one coaching session. The workshop can last a full day or two days, it includes "classroom" time (theory) and accompanied street shooting with me (practice).

The content of the workshop will be adjusted to your needs and photography level. The main idea is to help you improve and getting better at street photography. This is an interactive session tailored for you and dedicated to you.

During the workshop we will discuss about many topics : what is the essence of street photography ? Is it still social documentary ? What is your own motivation for it ? How to approach candid photography in public space ? How does it relate to yourself ? What is the appropriate mindset ? Which strategy or approach fit you the best ? How to overcome your fear of photographying strangers ? How to analyze and evaluate your own work within contemporary trends ? What about the storytelling ? What about framing ? Which camera settings ? Black and white or color ? How to edit your work ? What are you allowed to do legally ?...

Note that this street workshop will not be a photography lesson, you are supposed to already know how to use a camera. You will bring your own gear and a good pair of shoes to walk comfortably. If you come a long way and need accomodation, just let me know, I might be able to recommend some nice places.
